Today (10 May 2025), Mr. Ittiporn Boonprakong, Chairman of the Election Commission (EC), said about the issuance of summonses for senators to clarify allegations of collusion in the selection of senators in 2024 that the EC has appointed an investigation and inquiry committee consisting of EC officials and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to jointly investigate, which is a specially established committee chaired by Pol. Lt. Chanin Noi Lek, Deputy Secretary-General of the EC.
